Transcript: How magnesium helps acupuncture patients
It’s important to know that acupuncture only in maybe 25% of cases can actually affect a cure. The more complex cases requires an overall wellness package that includes modern medicine, supplements, and acupuncture.
In my wellness package, I advise people to watch their diet, to exercise, to get massages, to see chiropractors. It’s vitally important all my patients have to do it is that they have to take a magnesium source.
Magnesium is the component in muscle that allows the muscle to relax and stay relaxed. Without magnesium even if you’re taking a muscle relaxer or tranquilizer, the muscles will not completely unlock and relax. Magnesium is vital.
So I advise patients to take a magnesium supplement. My favorite is magnesium gluconate. It’s more expensive but its well worth the extra cost.
Another way to get magnesium into your system is to soak in Epsom salts. Two cups per tub for about ten or fifteen minutes and it will help relax the tissue. The Epsom salt contains magnesium. It will be absorbed through your skin. It helps you to sleep. It’s a tranquilizer. It’s a muscle relaxer. It helps for overall balance.
