How to Find a Health Care Provider

If you are looking for an experienced health care provider to treat your facial pain, a place to search for names are professional organizations and non-profit health care organizations on the Internet.  Friends or family might be able to suggest a health care provider who has helped them in the past.  If you know any patients with the same or similar condition or even a support group leader, they may be able to suggest a health care provider.

Simply getting a health care provider name and phone number are not enough.  Calling the health care provider’s office before setting an appointment to see if they frequently treat your specific type of pain may save you a considerable amount of time.  Often, if a health care provider doesn’t treat a specific disorder, they can often give you the name and number of someone who does.
